OpenSocial

In the past I have made some posts about facebook (See Here) When Microsoft invested Google was coming to short.

Today Google has anounced to found OpenSocial together with other Communities. The most famous one is MySpace with 150million users. However MySpace.com is not the only one. Other Communities said that they will follow OpenSocial. Sites like Bebo or Hi5. Altogether there will be about 10 or more Communities. Other sites will be Xing, LinkedIN, Vadeo, Friendster, Wink, Orkut and some more. Maybe also ebay will follow!

The goal of OpenSocial will be to create a community were you can take all your friends from all the different Communities together to one Community. The different Communities will create applications for OpenSocial. OpenSocial should be an attack on Facebook and Microsoft, started by Google and followed by the other Communities.
